"Mutual Migration," at Michael Rosenthal Gallery in San Fransisco is now open until June 19, 2010. On view: work by artists from the 2009-2010 season at the Fine Arts Work Center.
Currently in residence at Art342 in Fort Collins, CO.
Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 12:56PM Celebrated the New Year with the end of a residency at the MacDowell Colony (November 2009-January 2010).
I received a 2010 Leon Levy Foundation grant through the MacDowell Colony.
Mid-May through August: Artist in Residence at Art342 this summer.
Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 01:55AM Another winter in Provincetown comes to a close.
Various group shows at the Hudson D. Walker Gallery and at the Provincetown Arts Association and Museum.
Second solo show at the Walker Gallery, "This room used to be a studio."Most of the work was based on local history and observations from the last two years in town.
In June, Gordon participated in a show at the ArtStrand in Provincetown.
In July, two works were in "Midsummer Saltations" at The Art Store in Charleston, WV.
Upcoming in November, a trip to New Hampshire for two months in residence at the MacDowell Colony. She anticipates research concerning the history of the Colony, combined with materials gathered from a recent research trip to Berlin. Work will begin again soon.

The "RISD NYC Alumni Biennial" at The (OA) Can Factory in Brooklyn curated by Glenn Ligon and Lisa Sigal. Opens September 7, 2008 and runs through the 28th.
"New York/ New England/ New Talent" at the Hampden Gallery at UMass Amherst, curated by David Gibson. The show opens in November. Gibson's Article Projects is a blog about his curatorial endeavors.
Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 12:23AM During the summer between winters at the Fine Arts Work Center, a temporary studio in glamorous Providence, RI.
In August: Artist in Residence at the Seven Below Arts Initiative, an affiliate of Burlington City Arts in Burlington, VT. Planning is underway for a project tentatively titled, "The Burlington Modern Period Room."
Recently: Victorian Society of America Summer School led by reknown architectural historian Richard Guy Wilson. Ten days in Newport, RI at the Salve Regina University touring historic homes and private residences of Victorian origin. Information overload.

Two drawings are on display in Hartford, CT until April 28, 2008. Check out the announcement, featuring one of the works.
The show is organized by Paper/New England and features large works on paper by New England artists.

Installation shots from PAAM are up.
The Hans Hofmann Gallery is beautiful and the show looked very cohesive. The Association is housed in a fairly new "green" building- natural light and responsive indoor lighting, special vents, custom paint, etc.
